Hidden Tips on Aging That No One Talks About ….but Should!

There are plenty of secrets out there about aging that go unmentioned but we’re here to set a few of them free. Aging can be a touchy subject for many but it doesn’t have to be.

There is something graceful about aging, something exquisite. As the saying goes, “You get wiser with age”. Below you’ll read about a few tips that no one talks about but really should. It’s time to liberate these secret tips and embrace aging.

1. Beware of the sun!

Constant exposure to the sun is a big reason why aging can happen at a quicker rate than usual. Why do you think celebrities are religiously applying sunscreen even if they’re only spending 10 minutes out there? Burt’s Bees makes a  chemical free sunscreen that celebrity, Ellen Pompeo swears by. Sunscreen can help reduce damage from the sunrays on your skin even during the wintertime. Although the sun provides the body with Vitamin D, it’s important to note that there are other ways to get the vitamin in our system. Vitamin D capsules are available to take as well as using indoor infrared saunas (utilized through heat or light) that provide the right kind of rays that are better for your body rather than the rays directly from the sun.

2. A Blemish?! Now what do you do?

At the slightest sign of a blemish, celebrities are running to their dermatologists for help. This is primarily because celebrities believe that their skin needs to be well maintained and have this unwritten responsibility to exemplify perfection. And that is where we get this notion that perfect skin means a gorgeous face. But being that most of us aren’t celebrities (a person can dream, right?) let’s take a step back and talk about things we can do for our skin. It is a good idea to go for a facial once a month to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells. Acne facials are exceptionally beneficial because you can have a medical professional safely remove the bumps for you without causing inflammation to the skin or without allowing you to develop that ugly habit of picking at your pimples.

3. Dead Skin is your enemy – Get A Chemical Peel!

So like I just said, dead skin is your enemy, trust me. It’s not pretty and it really has no business being anywhere near your face. Undergoing medical grade skin peels is an effective way to get rid of that forbidden dead skin. But WARNING: Chemical Skin Peels are not for the faint hearted. They can however make your face feel like a baby’s butt… I’m 100% serious. In this procedure, a chemical solution is applied to the skin, which makes it “blister” and peel off. The skin will peel off and the patient will have smoother and less wrinkled skin than they did before. However, peels are not all the same, thus medical grade peels such as the Vi-Peel are ones most recommended because of the numerous positive outcomes. It’s best to keep the chemical skin peels to a minimum per year, roughly twice a year unlike facials, which can be done once a month. These peels help clean up dark marks or any old acne marks.

4. Give Me a B… For Botox!

Botox is widely known as the non-surgical heaven to many men and women. It not only helps wrinkles, but it plumps lips, enhances cheekbones, and allows your face to have a refreshed look. Seems simple right? Well it is but unfortunately people take advantage of the process and end up looking plastic rather than an actual human. Although there are several negative stereotypes behind the usage of Botox and other injectable fillers, if done correctly and NATURALLY, many of your friends, family and colleagues will not even notice a change in your appearance.

5. Why PRP is the Latest and Greatest

Facial Bio-Stimulation stands for platelet rich plasma growth factors (PRP) where the PRP combines with ozone, resulting in a treatment specially designed to give your face extra brightness and vitality. PRP is a simple outpatient procedure that applies plasma that is rich in growth factors to the face. What makes this procedure unique is that the patients will use their own blood. The growth factors that were mentioned before are responsible to transmitting signals to the cells to begin forming new tissues. The plasma contains soluble proteins in the platelets, which prompts such a response. It can help skins appearance, boost the synthesis of collagen, stimulate the process of connective tissue; slow the skins aging process, and help with cell regeneration.

6. Carboxytherapy… Yes It’s a Real Thing

If you’ve never heard of carboxytherapy, well then get ready. It is the administration of carbon dioxide gas [CO2] for therapeutic purposes! The distribution of CO2 will allow oxygen to circulate through the body, which will increase blood circulation. By doing so, carboxytherapy can improve skin elasticity and circulation, encourage collagen repair, improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and destroy localized fatty deposits.

7. IV Vitamin Therapy Can Help You FEEL Younger

IV vitamin therapy is another treatment that has recently gained some popularity. It’s the process of feeding vitamins, minerals and other natural substances directly into the patient’s bloodstream. Benefits include increased energy levels and allowing patients to perform daily activities feeling more energized. It helps the immune system, which can allow you to be less to infection. IV vitamin therapy can also help conditions like depression, migraines, and allergies, just to name a few. If you want to FEEL younger, than this might be the treatment for you! If you’re having trouble accepting the aging process then have no fear because healthy skin is just a treatment away. Which one will you choose? Your healthy beautiful self = a happier you (it also doesn’t hurt to smile!). Let’s make a promise to ourselves to embrace aging for the beautiful element of life that it is.
