  • HCG weight loss protocol is done with Human Chorionic Gonadotropin hormone that is the same secreted hormone during pregnancy and it controls the metabolic function using stored fat as energy. 
  • This is the same hormone used in fertility treatments but in smaller doses
  • HCG is dont with a very low calorie diet (500 cal) and the weight loss is 1-3lbs/day

The HCG Diet

  • Phase 1
    • Start up weight and measurments
    • DXA & BCA
    • Cleanse for 3-7 days, if indicated
    • Incorporate healthy food in diet
  • Phase 2 - Loading phase
    • Start using the hormone, eat anything you and for 2 days, then start the 500 calorie diet
    • Weigh yourself daily in the morning
    • Incorporate low impact exercises
  • 500 Calorie diet
    • 3.5 to 4 oz of protein 2x day
    • 3.5 oz of fresh vegetable 2x day
    • 2 servings of fruit a day
  • Exercise Program
    • Low impact exercises during the 40 days of HCG
    • If the person doesn't exercise yet, start incorporating 20-30 min a day or walking, yoga and Pilates

    • More than 500 calories a day
